Farm & Garden

The Farm

We grow a variety of vegetables, fruits, herbs, and flowers at Bellevue Farms. Food is used in the BCC kitchen for youth programming and for youth educational seed to table experience. We also supply our seasonal Farm Stand offering affordable, fresh food for the community. Coming soon for 2020, we will offer a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture). In addition, we partner with other organizations to Plant a Row to donate food in an effort to combat hunger. In addition, new for 2020, Bellevue Farms will be home to the Bellevue Bees! We are introducing beehives as a part of the ecological and agricultural curriculum furthering awareness of bee colony decline and what we can do to prevent bee loss.

The Community Garden

To engage community members in growing food and flowers, we offer raised garden beds for rent. Members plant their own veggies and more in a 16' x 4' plot. We host gardening days where gardeners work together and have an opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience. We also have a Free Seed Library for any community member to get seeds for gardening. Check out our educational opportunities updated on Facebook @BellevueFarms.

Volunteering and Sponsorship

Bellevue Farms is always appreciative of volunteerism. Farming is hard work, and a lot can be accomplished in a short time with extra hands. Even if you cannot farm, we have other opportunities to volunteer. Or, if you grow your own food and would like to donate extras, please contact us. We are also looking for sponsors!
